A piece from online multilingual interactive theater experience The Neighbors - Los Vecinos - Las Vecinas by Jugando N Play. I was commissioned to create this one song, which is played during a sequence where the people in the building are getting ready for their ~big party~!
 

My starting point here was a reference piece (a Swedish children's song) provided by the commissioner. I tried to emulate the playful feel of that song, as well as incorporate elements relating to what's going on in the scene. I wanted to emphasize the social gathering, the bringing together of friends, and going from one place to another to meet other people. So I ended up using sounds like knocking on a door, people greeting each other, and a sample of a PA announcement in the Stockholm metro.
